Headworks and Primary Treatment Project Wins APWA Award
The Headworks and Primary Treatment project won the Project of the Year award for the American Public Works Association (APWA) Silicon Valley’s 2025 Award Program. The project replaced the seismic-vulnerable existing primary treatment facilities with new, modernized, primary treatment facilities (including screenings, grit removal and sedimentation), increasing reliability and safety for the City’s Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP), while also meeting regulatory obligations. The City accepted the award on May 21st.
